8 November, Dang. Rekha Sharma of CPN-Maoist Center has gained in Dang Region No. 2. She defeated CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel by a margin of about 200 votes.
The vote outcomes are but to be officially announced.
This is Rekha’s first direct contest within the election.
