November 8, November. Nepali Congress chief Ramchandra Poudel has been elected to the House of Representatives from Tanahun-1.
Paude obtained 25 thousand 318 votes and was elected from Tanahun-1. Paudel was elected by defeating Ek Bahadur Rana of CPN UML by nearly 6 thousand votes.
While Paudel was elected with 25 thousand 318 votes, Rana obtained 19 thousand 943 votes.
Govindraj Joshi who ran as an independent candidate obtained 6,878 votes, Vikas Sigdel of Rashtriya Swatantra Party obtained 6,032 votes and Vinod Gharti of RPP obtained 2,483 votes.
