Bhandari of the Maoists was elected to the provincial meeting from Myagdi

8 November, Myagdi. Hari Bahadur Bhandari of the CPN-Maoist Center has been elected from the state assembly constituency (1) of Myagdi.

Bhandari of the CPN Maoist Center defeated Debendra Bahadur Katuwal, who can also be the district president of the CPN UML, by a margin of 975 votes and received as a member of the Gandaki Provincial Assembly.

Chief Electoral Officer Krishna Prasad Nepal informed that Bhandari received 12 thousand 740 votes and Katuwal received 11 thousand 765 votes. There had been 48 thousand 472 voters within the province of Myagdi (1), and 28 thousand 897 votes had been forged within the election held on Sunday.

Pravin Shahi of RPP received 2049 votes, Deepak Pun of Mongol National Organization received 1073 votes and Dudh Giri of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party Nepal received 122 votes.

38-year-old Bhandari of Raghuganga Rural Municipality-2 is a district member of CPN Maoist Center and chairman of Raghuganga Rural Municipality Committee. Bhandari, who was defeated within the native elections of 2074, because the vice-chairman of Raghuganga Rural Municipality, was supported by the Nepali Congress, CPN United Samajwadi Party and Jan Morcha as a member of the Provincial Assembly.

Candidates of the ruling coalition have been elected from Myagdi in all 3 areas as members of the House of Representatives and members of the Provincial Assembly. Kham Bahadur Garbuja (Khambir) of Nepali Congress has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives and Resham Bahadur Jugjali of Maoist has been elected within the state meeting constituency (2).
