8 November, Surkhet. Yamalal Kandel of CPN-UML has gained in Provincial Assembly 1 of Surkhet 2.
Kandel gained by 161 votes. He received 18 thousand 561 votes whereas Kali Prasad Shakya of Congress received 18 thousand 400 votes.
Similarly, RPP’s Surya Bahadur Khatri received 3685 and Shiv Prasad Upadhyay of Integrated Samajwadi received 1000 200 votes.
UML’s Kandel was additionally elected as a provincial assembly member from this area.
