Maoist candidate for Chief Minister Angbo elected for the second time

Maoist heart chief Indra Bahadur Angbo

8 November, Biratnagar. Maoist Center chief Indra Bahadur Angbo has been re-elected from Panchthar State Assembly 2. He received from the identical constituency within the 2074 election and was elected to the Provincial Assembly for the second time.

Angbo, Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning of Province 1, defeated UML candidate Aindrasunder Nemwang. Angbo, the only contender for the Chief Ministership of Province 1 from the Maoist Center, obtained 15,672 votes.

UML candidate Nemwang obtained 12,605 votes.
