7 November, Gorkha. The victory of Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Chairman of CPN Maoist Center in Gorkha Region No. 2, has been confirmed. Prachanda, who’s main with 21 thousand 75 votes, is behind his nearest competitor by 12 thousand 612 votes.
His nearest rival Kavindra Burlakoti of Rashtriya Swatantra Party received 8,463 votes. In Gorkha-2, 12 thousand 571 votes are but to be counted.
CPN-UML candidate Abdus Mia received 5,637 votes. He has been in third place because the begin.
53 thousand 978 votes have fallen on this constituency.
