29 October, Birgunj. All the border crossings in Parsa district, which has a border with India, will likely be closed from November 1st.
Border crossings are going to be closed from November 1st, focusing on the election of members of the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly to be held on November 4th.
Chief District Officer of Parsa, Umesh Kumar Dhakal has issued a notification and knowledgeable that it has been determined to shut the border crossing to conduct the elections in a free, honest and fearless surroundings.
He stated that every one border crossings will likely be closed from 12 midnight on November 1 to 12 midnight on November 4. It was already determined to seal the border for 72 hours for election safety after assembly with Indian safety companies.
