7 November, Hetaunda. Maoist Center candidate Kumari Moktan has been elected to Bagmati Provincial Assembly from Makwanpur 2(1). She acquired 19,873 votes and was elected.
His closest rival, CPN-UML candidate Bishnu Prasad Dhakal, acquired 19,551 votes.
Moktan is the Social Development Minister of Bagmati State Government.
