Kathmandu, November 8
Beema Samiti [Insurance Board of Nepal], the nation’s insurance coverage trade regulator, has been rebranded as Nepal Insurance Authority with a change in its capabilities, duties and powers.
The regulator started working with its new identification on Tuesday.
Earlier in October, President Bidya Devi Bhandari accepted the Insurance Bill accepted by the parliament a month in the past. The act has that the regulator shall start working because the authority after one month.
The authority can also be organising a particular programme to make an announcement on this regard immediately.
