7 November, Biratnagar. Amrit Aryal of Nepali Congress has been elected to the State Assembly 2 of Morang Region No. 5. He defeated Janata Samajwadi Party candidate Jairaj Yadav, who can be the Health Minister of Province 1.
Aryal obtained 16 thousand 102 votes whereas his nearest rival Yadav obtained 10 thousand 824 votes. In the election of 2074, when Yadav was elected as a member of the Provincial Assembly from Region No. 5, he was defeated by Shiv Kumar Mandal, the chief of the CPN Maoist Center, within the election of the Member of the House of Representatives of Aryal Region No. 5.
Aryal, who defeated Upendra Yadav in Morang-5 within the second Constituent Assembly member election of the yr 2070, was additionally a contender for the member of the House of Representatives this time. But after Sector No. 5 fell beneath the Maoist Center, Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba gave Aryal the provincial ticket with the promise of constructing him the Chief Minister.
