10 November, Ilam. CPN-UML chief Subash Chandra Nemwang has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Ilam 2. He defeated Congress candidate Dambar Bahadur Khadka by a margin of 114 votes. Nemwang obtained 30 thousand 20 votes whereas Khadka obtained 29 thousand 906 votes. Nemwang was additionally elected from this area in 2074.
