8 November, Rautahat. CPN-UML candidate Zaid Alam has been elected in Rautahat Region No. 2 State Assembly (1).
25-year-old Zaid Alam was defeated for the publish of mayor within the earlier native elections. Zaid, who was defeated within the election for the publish of mayor of Rajpur municipality, has now been elected as a member of the provincial assembly.
While Zaid bought 13 thousand 532 votes, his nearest rival independent candidate Nagendra Sinha bought 6 thousand 872 votes. Former minister Zaid who gained by 6 thousand 660 votes. He is the son of Mushtaq Alam.
Giving a short response after the victory, he stated that he’ll work for the prosperity and radical change of this area. ‘There is lots of improvement work to be carried out on this space. In phrases of improvement, this space is much behind,’ Zaid stated, ‘I’ve come into politics with youthful zeal. Father had many desires for this space which I’ll begin to fulfill from at this time.’
