17 November, Kathmandu. Ganga Karki of CPN-Maoist Center has maintained his lead as a member of the House of Representatives from Dolakha. Currently, through the counting of votes in Jiri municipality, CPN-UML candidate Balkrishna Sivakoti has diminished the margin of votes.
According to the voting outcomes launched by the Chief Election Officer’s workplace on Saturday afternoon, Ganga Karki of the Maoist Center received 10,472 votes whereas Sivakoti of CPN-UML received 9,305 votes.
So far, counting of votes in 8 wards of Gaurishankar Rural Municipality, all wards of Kalinchok Rural Municipality and wards No. 6, 7, 8 and 9 of Jiri Rural Municipality is being accomplished.
