Voting couldn’t begin in Ghiring of Tanahun after the arrest of UML staff

4 November, Tanahun. In Ghiring rural municipality-1 of Tanahun, the polling couldn’t begin after the police arrested two UML staff.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Yuvraj Khadka of District Police Office Tanahun mentioned that after the conflict between Congress and UML staff yesterday night, the police arrested two UML staff.

According to him, as a result of clashes, the voting course of couldn’t resume on the Krishna Mavi polling station in Ghiring Rural Municipality-1 Puttar.

UML chief Vishnubhakt Sigdel mentioned that after seeing that the victory of UML was assured, the UML staff had been arrested and unfold panic.
