9 November, Sankhuvasabha. Vidur Kumar Linthep of CPN-UML has been elected from Sankhuwasabha State Assembly (2). Linthep was elected with 15,482 votes.
His nearest competitor Sarita Khadka of CPN United Samajwadi Party obtained 15 thousand 242 votes. UML’s Linthep was elected with a margin of 240 votes. Khadka turned a provincial MP from CPN-UML in 2074, whereas UML’s Linthep was the mayor of Madi municipality within the 2074 native elections.
In the district, there are one space in the direction of the House of Representatives and two areas in the direction of the Provincial Assembly.
