UML’s Dipendra Kumar Thakur was elected to the state meeting from Dhanusha

9 November, Dhanusha. CPN-UML candidate Dipendra Kumar Thakur has been elected from Dhanusha-3 State Assembly (2).

Thakur was elected by defeating his nearest competitor Parameshwar Sah Sudi by a margin of 1,403 votes.

Thakur received 8,220 votes whereas Sah received 6,817 votes.

Similarly, Ram Babu Sah Kalwar of Janmat Party received 3,605 votes, Mohammad Asghar Ali Rain of Terai Madhesh-Democratic Party received 3,211 votes and independent candidate Hari Shankar Sah received 2,998 votes.
