November 9, Kathmandu. CPN-UML has received in Sarlahi-2. UML’s Hariprasad Upreti was elected as a member of the House of Representatives.
He was elected as a Member of Parliament defeating CPN Maoist Center candidate Narendra Shah Kalwar.
Upreti received by getting 32 thousand 938 votes, whereas his nearest rival Kalwar received 32 thousand 168 votes. Tribhuwan Singh of Janmat Party received 5 thousand 519 votes and Panchkumar Sintan of Rashtriya Swatantra Party received solely 3 thousand 566 votes.
