The US oil contract fell under $80 a barrel

2 November, London. The worth of the principle contract of US crude fell under $80 per barrel on Friday for the primary time since September, amid rising issues in regards to the world economic system and the unfold of Covid-19 in China.

A barrel of WTI for supply in December fell by 1.9 p.c to 80.08 per greenback.

Meanwhile, Brent, the principle European contract for January supply, fell 1.6 p.c to $88.33 per greenback. AFP
