“It raises rejection of a parody that hurts the sensitivity of many individuals and significantly that of all believers who, underneath this dedication of the Virgin Mary, preserve their religion and non secular traditions,” reads a tweet printed this Tuesday by the knowledge workplace of the EEC, accompanied by the communiqué issued by the Tarragona Episcopal Conference.
As the Catalan prelates warn of their notice, any such ‘gags’ “exceed the humorousness and the dignity of the religion of so many individuals”, for which they ask public tv to “respect all beliefs, sustaining spiritual neutrality that corresponds to him and respecting the emotions of the believers”.
