The National Police have arrested this Tuesday in Mallorca Juan Gayá, a well-known ‘guru’ of sports activities betting, within the framework of an operation towards cash laundering carried out in numerous components of Spain.
Sources near the case have confirmed the arrest of the ‘tipster’ or betting forecaster at his residence within the Mallorcan city of Santa Eugènia.
The operation is led by brokers from the Specialized and Violent Crime Unit (UDEV) of the General Commissariat of the Judicial Police, which might be deploying an operation all through Spain. The operation has been declared secret.
