The Generalitat of Catalonia sells its 5.06% stake in Petrocat to Repsol

The Generalitat de Catalunya has agreed to promote to Repsol its 5.06% stake that it nonetheless held within the Societat Catalana de Petrolis (Petrocat).

This is how sources from the Ministry of Business and Labor have defined it to Europa Press this Tuesday. With this operation, the corporate retains 100% of the aforementioned firm.

Petrocat has round thirty petrol stations and 20 distribution facilities, as ‘Ara’ has introduced. In this fashion, the Catalan administration exits the gasoline enterprise.

History of Catalonia with fuels

He entered it in 1987, when the Government started the creation of a Catalan gasoline operator. Its participation was articulated in 1993 by the Center for Business Information and Development (Cidem).
