Passengers touring this Friday between Formentera and Denia on the Balearia ferry have been shocked to see a formidable column of smoke.
In the space, a ship engulfed in flames, which has pressured the ferry captain to decelerate and alter course within the path of the yacht. “We have been in the midst of the ocean, midway via, and to our proper there was a number of smoke,” says Sonia, one of many ferry passengers.
As they approached the yacht, the occupants of the ferry have been in a position to see an orange raft through which 4 folks have been staying afloat. “We have seen them swimming in the direction of the Balearia ship,” explains the witness.
Once the ferry has reached the peak of the raft, the Balearia workers has carried out the maneuver to rescue the 4 castaways.

The ferry that was scheduled to reach in Denia at 1:15 p.m. has lastly docked within the port of Denia at 1:50 p.m. with the 4 castaways amongst its passengers.
