Shahi of the United Socialists was elected to the state meeting from Bajura

17 November, Kathmandu. Naresh Kumar Shahi of CPN United Samajwadi Party has been elected from Bajura State Assembly Constituency 1.

According to the outcomes of the general public vote on Saturday afternoon, Shahi was elected with 10 thousand 973 votes.

His nearest rival Baldev Regmi of CPN-UML has obtained 8 thousand 632 votes, whereas Karna Bahadur Bishwakarma, the candidate of CPN-Maoist Center who’s in third place, has obtained 1 thousand 98 votes. Shahi is the President of the Youth Union of the Integrated Socialists.
