Sanjay Gautam of Congress was elected from Bardia-1

8 November, Bardia. Nepali Congress candidate Sanjay Kumar Gautam has been elected to the House of Representatives from Bardia-1.

He was elected by defeating his nearest competitor Laxmanraj Gyawali of CPN-UML by a margin of 4,456 votes.

Gautam acquired 30 thousand 611 votes whereas his competitor Gyawali acquired solely 26 thousand 155 votes.

Similarly, Thakur Singh Tharu of Citizen Liberation Party acquired 23 thousand 993 votes whereas Pravesh Bhusal of Rashtriya Swatantra Party acquired 11 thousand 4 votes.

Similarly, Janmat Party candidate Sohrao Pathan acquired 2,355 votes, Rashtriya Prajatantra Party’s Surya Bahadur Singh acquired 2,266 votes and Janata Samajwadi Party’s Resham Bahadur Khatri acquired just one,000 votes.
