Rastriya Swatantra Party informed to not use bells in its campaigns

Kathmandu, November 9

The Election Commission has directed Rabi Lamichhane-led Rastriya Swatantra Party to not use bells in its campaigns within the run-up to the federal and provincial elections scheduled to be held on November 20.

The fee has assigned a bell because the election image of the celebration and its candidates and supporters are utilizing this whereas canvassing votes.

But, events of different candidates on Tuesday complained to the fee that the RSP candidates utilizing the bell disturbed them. Following that, the constitutional physique issued the directive, in line with Ganesh Karki of the celebration.

Meanwhile, the fee has denied the report. “We had requested them to submit a clarification over it some weeks in the past,” the fee’s assistant spokesperson Guru Prasad Wagle says, “But, no ultimate resolution has been made on this regard.”
