8 November, Rautahat. Prabhu Sah, an independent candidate, has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Rautahat Constituency No-3.
Sah was elected by defeating impartial candidate Omprakash Jaiswal by a margin of seven,237 votes.
Shah bought 32 thousand 437 votes whereas his competitor Jaiswal bought 25 thousand 200 votes.
Similarly, the candidate of the Maoist Center, Ravindra Patel, bought 3,658 votes.
