Pant of Congress elected from Kailali 5

9 November, Dhangadhi. Dilliraj Pant of Nepali Congress has received from Kailali Constituency No. 5.

Pant was elected as a member of the House of Representatives after defeating Naradamuni Rana of CPN-UML.

While Pant received by getting 21 thousand 392 votes, his rival Rana of UML acquired 20 thousand 318 votes. Rana, who had taken the lead for the reason that starting of the counting, was overtaken by Pant.

Earlier, it was mentioned that Congress central member Arju Rana Deuba can be a candidate from this space, however Pant acquired the ticket after he sat in proportionality.
