Only 3 out of 12 elected from Mahottari are new

eleventh November, Janakpurdham. Out of 12 individuals who had been elected to the House of Representatives and State Assembly from Mahottari, 9 individuals have repeated the identical. From Mahottari, which has 4 constituencies, 4 individuals have been elected to the House of Representatives and eight individuals have been elected to the Provincial Assembly.

Out of which the members of the House of Representatives elected from Mahottari-1 and 4 and the members of the State Assembly elected from Mahottari-4 (1) are new. 2 individuals elected within the House of Representatives and seven individuals elected within the Provincial Assembly are outdated.

Elected to the House of Representatives from Mahottari-1, Lakshmi Mahato is new. In 2074, Girirajmani Pokharel, Deputy Secretary General of the Maoist Center was elected from this area. But Mahato avenged the defeat she suffered in opposition to Pokharel in 2074.

Congress‘s Mahendra Kumar Rai, who was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Mahottari-4, is a brand new face. He defeated Dr. Surendra Kumar Yadav of Jaspa who was elected from this space in 2074.

Among the brand new leaders who received elections from Mahottari is UML’s Saroj Kumar Yadav, who was elected to the state meeting from Mahottari-4 (1). Earlier, Kaushal Kumar Yadav of the then Federal Socialist Forum was elected from that space. Kaushal contested the election from LOSPA after being expelled by JSP. He misplaced to Saroj by a margin of 1859 votes.

Sharda Thapa of UML elected in Mahottari-1 (1) and Bharat Prasad Sah of Maoist Center elected in (2). Both of them had been immediately elected from the identical area in 2074.

Sharadsingh Bhandari of the Democratic Samajwadi Party has been re-elected to the House of Representatives from Mahottari-2. In Mahottari-2 (1) LOSPA’s Jaylun Rain and in (2) independent candidate Surita Sah have been elected. In the 2074 elections, Sharad Singh, Jaylun and Surita had been elected from the then Rashtriya Janata Party. But this time, after not getting a ticket from the ruling coalition, Surita ran as an unbiased candidate. She defeated Congress candidate Nageshwar Yadav by a margin of 1,766 votes.

Democratic Samajwadi Party President Mahant Thakur has been re-elected to the House of Representatives from Mahottari-3, whereas LOSPA’s Abhiram Sharma has received in state (1) and Rani Sharma Tiwari has received in state (2). Even in 2074, these three individuals received the election from RJP.

JSPA’s Saroj Singh Kushwaha has been re-elected to the state meeting from Mahottari-4(2). He received the election from the then Federal Socialist Forum in 2074.
