November 8, Dang. Metmani Chaudhary of CPN Unified Socialist has been elected to the House of Representatives from Dang-1.
He obtained 26,563 votes and defeated CPN-UML candidate Shanta Chaudhary by 5,084 votes. Chaudhary obtained 21 thousand 479 votes.
Metmani Chaudhary was previously elected from this area in 2074 from CPN-UML.
According to the election officer’s workplace, Devraj Pathak of the National Independent Party obtained 13,794 votes, whereas Ganga Chaudhary Satgauwa of our Nepali Party obtained 1,092 votes.
