9 November, Chitwan. Thakur Dhakal of CPN-Maoist Center has been elected to the Provincial Assembly from Chitwan-3 (2).
He defeated RP candidate Rina Gurung by a margin of 846 votes. Dhakal acquired 15,461 votes whereas Gurung acquired 14,615 votes.
CPN-UML’s Saraswati Bista acquired 10 thousand 124 votes. Dhakal, who was elected to the provincial assembly, was elected because the mayor of Madi municipality from the Maoist middle in 2074.
