9 December, Biratnagar. Maoist Center’s candidate Ganesh Upreti has gained from the State Assembly 1 of Morang Region No. 2. Upreti was elected after defeating CPN-UML candidate Dan Bahadur Karki.
Upreti, who grew to become a candidate from the ruling coalition, received 15,033 votes. CPN-UML candidate Karki acquired 14,678 votes. RPP candidate Shrikant Poddar has obtained 2304 votes. Upreti, who was elected as a member of the state assembly, is the secretary of the Maoist middle province 1.
CPN-UML candidate Rishikesh Pokharel has been elected to the House of Representatives from Morang Region No. 2. UML candidate Lilabalab Adhikari was elected within the State Assembly 2 of Region No. 2. Officers had been elected earlier.
