At least six individuals died in a magnitude-6.6 earthquake within the Doti district of far-western Nepal within the wee hours of Wednesday.

DSP Bhola Prasad Bhatta, the appearing chief of the Doti District Police Office, says these locals of Thadagaun, Purbichauki rural municipality-3, died, being buried within the rubble of the collapsed homes.
