15 November, Kathmandu. The Madhesi Commission has requested the Ministry of Home Affairs and the police to take motion in opposition to the folks concerned within the video of Balen Shah, the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, who used insulting phrases in opposition to the Madhesi group.
On November 14th, in a video that was extensively circulated on social media, slogans have been raised in opposition to Mayor Balen Shah. The fee stated that by utilizing insulting phrases in opposition to the Madhesi group, the whole Madhesi group was humiliated and social concord and nationwide unity have been disturbed.
In a letter written by Savita Dangol, Deputy Secretary of the Commission, to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Police Headquarters, it’s stated, ‘…During the protest in opposition to the motion of the metropolis relating to the squatter’s land in Thapathali, an individual has insulted the whole Madhesi group and disturbed social concord and nationwide unity on social media, so he might be handled strictly based on the regulation. Chairman of the Commission Dr. Vijay Kumar Dutt stated that the Commission has written to the Nepal Police to research the video and take motion.
