A 35-year-old journalist, NB Kandel, died when a tipper (prepared combine) numbered Lu 1 Ok 5276 hit a bike at Jankinagar, Tilottama, on the Butwal-Bhairawa part of the Siddharth Highway on Friday night.
According to District Police Office Rupandehi, the tipper on its method from Butwal to Bhairawa hit a bike numbered Lu 44 P 8201 and died throughout remedy on the Lumbini Regional Hospital in Kandel.
Kandel, who was residing in Sainamaina Municipality-1 Ranibagia of Rupandehi and residing in Butwal, was the editor of Global Awaaz Online, which was run from Butwal.
