Pokhara, November 8

Gandaki Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel has eliminated Energy Minister Hari Sharan Acharya from the cupboard after he was discovered campaigning in opposition to the ruling alliance for the November 20 elections.

Bharat Koirala, the press coordinator of CM Pokharel, says the chief minister has despatched a letter to the province chief (governor), asking to take away Acharya from the cupboard.

It has been realized that Acharya solicited votes in opposition to the CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Gorkha. After Dahal complained about him to Acharya’s social gathering chief Baburam Bhattarai, high leaders mentioned the problem and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba directed CM Pokharel to take away him.

Meanwhile, Acharya stated there was no want for the chief minister to take away him from the cupboard. “I’ve not joined every other social gathering. Hence, there was no must take away me,” he says.
