Four kids have been injured by burns in an explosion at a farmhouse in Brunyola (Girona) once they have been experimenting with chemical merchandise throughout an exercise. The minors simulated the eruption of a volcano, which triggered a deflation that triggered burns. One of them has been severely injured.
Firefighters obtained the discover at 7:33 p.m. this Wednesday. Three minors have been transferred to the Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona and a fourth, in a much less severe situation, to the Josep Trueta Hospital in Girona.
The minors are between 9 and 12 years outdated. According to some sources, the combination of chemical merchandise that triggered the deflagration was dishwasher, bicarbonate and 96º alcohol.
