Kathmandu. Nepali Congress candidate Dev Prasad Timalsena has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Rautahat Constituency No. 4.
He defeated Uddhav Prasad Regmi of CPN-UML, the frequent candidate of the ruling coalition, by a margin of 10,555 votes. Regmi was supported by the Janata Samajwadi Party.
In the 2074 election, Timal Sena was additionally elected from this area.
