Congress’s Yadav was elected by defeating Aragaria by a margin of 157 votes

November 9, Kathmandu. Nepali Congress has gained in Dhanusha Constituency No. 2 within the House of Representatives elections. Ramkrishna Yadav of Congress has been elected MP.

Yadav was elected MP defeating Umashankar Aragaria of UML. Yadav had a troublesome competitors with Aragaria, who left the Democratic Samajwadi Party earlier than the election and joined UML.
Annath Yadav received 20 thousand 112 votes whereas his closest rival Aragaria may get 19 thousand 955 votes. Yadav gained by 157 votes.

From this area, Ramchandra Jha of the United Samajwadi Party received 13,605 votes, Anand Yadav of the Janata Samajwadi Party received 12,901 votes, and Jainarayan Sah of the Janmat Party received 9,901 votes.
