17 folks together with town police chief of Kathmandu have been injured within the conflict in Thapathali

12 November, Kathmandu. Seventeen folks, together with town police chief of the metropolis, who arrived to evacuate the squatter settlements on the banks of the Bagmati in Thapathali, Kathmandu, have been injured.

A staff together with Metropolitan Police Chief Raju Pandey reached Thapathali to evacuate the slums. During the retaliatory motion by the residents of the squatter settlement, Pandey’s head was fractured, whereas different metropolis policemen sustained minor accidents.

According to City Police Superintendent Dinesh Aryal, the police have been injured when stones have been thrown at them. He mentioned that the injured are being handled at Narvik Hospital in Thapathali. The situation of the injured metropolis police is regular. Most of the injured are newly recruited metropolis policemen.
