16 arrested in an anti-drug operation with 50 brokers in 19 occupied homes in Seville

The National Police carried out this Wednesday an anti-drug operation in a residential space of ​​Mairena del Alcor, in Seville. Within the framework of ‘Operation Sarandon’, the brokers have proceeded to the entry and search of 19 properties, all of them occupied.

After the searches, the appearing brokers have arrested 16 people for the crimes of drug trafficking, fraud of electrical energy, unlawful occupation of actual property and belonging to a felony group.

Likewise, a number of plantations have been dismantled, wherein marijuana, MDMA and numerous firearms have been seized. More than 50 National Police brokers have participated within the macro-operation, each from specialised teams and from helicopters, canine guides and cavalry.
