Fred White, the drummer of the legendary Earth, Earth Wind & Fire, has died this Sunday, January 1 on the age of 67. His demise has been confirmed in an announcement by Verdine White, his brother and bassist of the group.

Verdine added: “He joins our brothers Maurice, Monte and Ronald in heaven and is now drumming with the angels! Protected little one, member of EWF ORIGINAL 9, with gold information at 16! He was the quantity 4 brother within the household lineup.”
“He was a beautiful, entertaining and deliciously mischievous brother! And we might at all times rely on him to make a seemingly unhealthy scenario extra joyful!” she added.
“He will dwell in our hearts perpetually, relaxation within the energy beloved Freddie! We thanks all for his love, blessings and assist at the moment. He flies excessive bro, we love you to the intense stars and again!” Verdine concluded.
Born in Chicago in 1955, Frederick Eugene Adams, at simply 15 years previous, joined The Salty Peppers. At the time, the band was that includes future legendary vocalist, Donny Hathaway. In 1974 he joined the mighty Earth, Wind and Fire as drummer, alongside together with his brothers Maurice and Verdine.
