The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has referred to as for “understanding, coexistence and encounter” in his Christmas greeting, broadcast by his Twitter account.
In his congratulations, Sánchez has despatched his “greatest needs to all, with the hope of a time of peace, prosperity and solidarity”.
Without mentioning the phrase Christmas, his message ends with Happy Holidays!, which he replies within the three co-official languages of Spain (Catalan, Basque and Galician) and in English.
