The protest of ertzainas in caravans of autos referred to as by the platform “Ertzainas en Lucha” to which ErNE, Esan, Euspel and SiPE have joined, has induced heavy retentions early this Thursday on the accesses of the three Basque capitals.
The Security division has confirmed that this mobilization is affecting the city areas of each Bilbao and San Sebastián and Vitoria.
The caravans of automobiles have been leaving from the Mendizabala automobile park in Vitoria-Gasteiz at 8:30 a.m.; Añorga, Belartza and Merkachina in Donostia-San Sebastián, and the Carrefour Erandio and Parking Zorrozgoiti automobile parks in Bilbao.
According to the conveners, greater than 400 brokers have joined this protest between the three cities.

This mobilization is named to demand enhancements in working situations. In addition, to denounce “the imposition and immobility” of the Security division, given its “refusal to barter the working situations of the Ertzaintza, which have expired for greater than 10 years”
Massive demonstration in Bilbao
The caravan of automobiles takes place after the celebration on May 8 of an enormous demonstration in Bilbao wherein 1000’s of Basque law enforcement officials participated of their private capability.
