9 November, Kavre. CPN-UML chief Gokul Baskota has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kavre-2.
He defeated Nepali Congress candidate Shiv Prasad Humagai by a margin of 5,863 votes.
Baskota received 45 thousand 345 votes, Humagai received 39 thousand 582 votes and Dinesh Humagai of the National Independent Party received 10 thousand 586 votes. Earlier, Baskota was elected from this area in 2074 as properly.
