The United States has summoned the Russian ambassador over the collision of a Russian fighter jet with an American drone over the Black Sea, in line with US State Department spokesman Ned Price.
The US ambassador in Moscow has conveyed that message to the Russian Foreign Ministry, in line with Price, including that US officers had briefed allies and companions in regards to the incident.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has defined in a press release that its fighters “didn’t use weapons and didn’t come into contact” with the US drone. The ministry has stated fighters from its air protection forces took to the air to establish the drone, which the ministry stated was heading “within the route of the state border of the Russian Federation.”
The command of the US forces in Europe has confirmed in a press release this incident, which occurred early within the morning. One of the Russian fighters hit one of many drone’s propellers, prompting US authorities to shoot it down at sea.
“Our MQ-9 plane was conducting routine operations in worldwide airspace when it was intercepted and struck by a Russian plane, leading to a crash and the entire lack of the MQ-9,” stated Commander James B. Hecker, who has warned that there’s “nearly” a complete conflict.
